Know before you Start
A Certified Scrum Master manages an Agile development team and works between them and other players on the team. A Professional Scrum Master Certification expert, or CSM Certification Expert, is a certified Scrum Master that understands and knows how to use the Scrum Training process for self-directed teams to efficiently produce and manage high-quality products in an agile and dynamic way.
Both the Certified Scrum Master Certification and the Professional Scrum Master Certification prove that candidates understand the Scrum framework. Some Professional Scrum Masters are both certified, while others just have one CSM Certification or PSM Certification.
The PSM and CSM both require the passage of a short multiple-choice test, and can both be passed in 60 minutes or less. But, whereas the PSM consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, the CSM contains a bit more – 85.
Finally, while both require only a pass, a majority is needed in the PSM and only a minority is needed in the CSM. The CSM Certification has one level of certification that must be renewed every two years, while the PSM Certification has three levels of certification that are good for life. There is scrum master certification cost difference between all three PSM certifications and the single CSM certification across all three.
Our mission is to prepare people for the real world no matter who they are, which means our courses all start at the beginning, without prerequisites. There are no prerequisites to our Professional Scrum Master Training.
